Néstor Giorlami marked his debut in the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO with a podium finish at WTCR AFRIQUIA Race of Morocco last weekend.

‘Bebu’ finished third to Race 1 winner and ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport team-mate Esteban Guerrieri before adding more points to his total with P10 in Race 2 and sixth in Race 3.

He left Marrakech fourth in the points, while his third place was the best result by a WTCR / OSCARO rookie, albeit a feat emulated by PWR CUPRA racer Mikel Azcona.

“It’s such an awesome weekend,” said the Honda-powered Girolami, who joins the #WTCR2019SUPERGRID as a double Súper TC2000 champion in his native Argentina. “I’m fourth and we’re leading the Teams’ points so it couldn’t have gone much better.

“The guys at ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport and JAS made a huge effort to get this and I’ve gone from being 1.5 seconds off the pace in first practice.”
