You name it, Timo’s done it: Scheider’s career CV is all about variety. From karting to Formula Renault, Formula 3 to DTM, A1 Grand Prix to Le Mans, FIA GT to World Rallycross, Scheider has done it all.
Making up for lost time: Germany’s finest joins the WTCR OSCARO grid for the Asian leg of the championship, switching from ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport’s FIA World Rallycross Championship line-up to its racing-winning WTCR squad.
Touring car racing no problem, right? Scheider did his tin-top winning in the DTM (he was a double champion and won seven times in 201 attempts). But that was in rear-wheel-drive machinery. Front-wheel drive awaits from WTCR Race of China-Ningbo onwards…
DTM days: Scheider spent 16 years in the DTM. Starting out with Opel, he was Audi-powered from 2006 – having skipped 2005 to race in FIA GT – and won the title in 2008 and 2009.
Did you know? Linking up with Marco Holzer and Richard Westbrook, Scheider finished third in class at the Le Mans 24 Hours in 2010.
