WTCR Race of Italy 2021 - TBA

After missing out on a WTCR appearance in 2020 when delays were encountered in the readying of the upgraded Adria International Raceway track layout, WTCR Race of Italy had been due to run from July 31-August 1 but was postponed to allow the completion of necessary adjustment work following the circuit’s extension. The new date is subject to the requisite FIA Grade 3 homologation certificate being issued*. The event will mark FIA World Touring Car racing’s return to Italy, its spiritual home, for the first time since 2017 when Monza welcomed the WTCC. Adria, which is no stranger to staging FIA touring car events having hosted the FIA European Touring Car Cup in 2007, is located a short drive from the Adriatic Sea, 100 kilometres north of Bologna and 60 kilometres south of Venice.

*Subject to issuing of FIA Grade 3 homologation certificate
