Here’s a recap of some of the latest developments in the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO.

PWR TAKES ON #WTCR2019SUPERGRID WITH TWO-CAR CUPRA TEAM
Swedish team PWR Racing will embark on its biggest challenge to date when it steps up to the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO in 2019. It will field the CUPRA TCR in the 30-race series and has secured support from the Spanish brand. Two exciting driver announcements are planned in the coming weeks as preparations for the new WTCR / OSCARO season continue in earnest. Click for full story.

HOME HERO BENNANI WELCOMES 2M’S CONTINUED WTCR COVERAGE
Mehdi Benanni has described confirmation that live free-to-air coverage of the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO will continue on 2M in Morocco in 2019 as a “win-win” for both broadcaster and series. The first Moroccan to claim victory in an FIA world championship motor race is a winner in WTCR / OSCARO and will be a major force on the #WTCR2019SUPERGRID in his Sébastien Loeb Racing Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR, starting from next month’s season-opening WTCR Race of Morocco. FINAL 2019 WTCR / OSCARO CALENDAR APPROVED BY FIA WMSC
The calendar for the 2019 WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO has been approved by the FIA World Motor Sport Council. At its meeting in Geneva on 7 March, the WMSC ratified the date of the inaugural WTCR Race of Malaysia from 13-15 December, thereby finalising the full schedule for the upcoming season. WTCR RACER VERNAY EXCITED TO BE ON THE #ROADTOMALAYSIA
Drivers in the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO are officially on the #ROADTOMALAYSIA following confirmation of the date of the 2019 super-finale at the recent meeting of the FIA World Motor Sport Council. MICHELISZ’S FAVOURITE COLOURS INSPIRE WTCR NUMBER DESIGN
Norbert Michelisz had only one request when he commissioned his designer to come up with the logo that will form the basis of his number design in this year’s WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO.
